EAST LONDON LINE

Replacement Buses - ELW - 381 - Stations Served

Replacement bus services operate from 23rd December 2007

From 23^rd December 2007, the East London line closes until summer 2010. This is to allow for the lines extension to West Croydon, Crystal Palace and Dalston Junction. Further extensions are planned during 2011. When the East London line reopens, it will now be part of the London Overground network, rather than London Underground.

During the closure, replacement bus services will operate. These will cover the closed section of line. Details of these services are listed below. Route ELS, which recently replaced the Whitechapel to Shoreditch service, will continue to operate as now.

Valid London Underground tickets are valid on this service between Bermondsey & Surrey Quays Stations.

EAST LONDON LINE REPLACEMENT BUS SERVICE: ELW - Shoreditch/Whitechapel to Wapping

Shoreditch Brick Lane (Monday to Friday peak hours and 0730 to 1500 Sundays), Whitechapel Station, Shadwell Station, Wapping Station.

Daily

Rail tickets, Travelcards and pay as you go Oyster cards are accepted on this service. Tickets valid only for buses will not be accepted.
